NFEC's Proprietary Curriculum covers 6 Major Topics: Intro to Finance (ITF Program), Global Economics (GE Program), Investing & Banking (IB Program), Finance Industry (FI Program), FinTech (FinTech Program), and Application-based Simulations (ABS). Each topic includes customizable presentations for different age groups, using engaging graphics, group discussions, and activities to keep students actively involved.
NFEC Curriculum
Topic 1: Intro to Finance
This course covers fundamental topics such as budgeting and savings, aiming to equip students with the practical knowledge they need to manage their personal finances wisely.
Topic 2: Global Economics
This course serves as an introduction to the Advanced Placement (AP) Economics curriculum, covering the basic principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics.
Topic 3: Investing & Banking
This course provides an exploration into investing, covering diverse investment types, applications of risk management, and essential strategies for achieving financial success.
Topic 4: Finance Industry
Building off of Investing & Banking, this course goes more in-depth about jobs and marks in finance. From understanding private equity to investment banking, students are equipped with knowledge to help them for a career in finance.
Topic 5: FinTech
This course introduces students to FinTech, exploring diverse technologies, risk management applications, and essential strategies for success in the evolving financial landscape.
Topic 6: App-Based Simulations
Building on foundational finance topics, this course uses hands-on activities to help students apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.
